Duggie
I have recently installed the H80i, a RM750 and the Link software. I think I have everything running well, except that Link shows my cpu at 0c (a few blips to 3 or 4, but only for a few seconds) when the system is idle, but the H80i temp is showing mid top high 20's... Now after running benchmark (Passmark) for about 20 minutes, my CPU temp is showing 34.6 and the pump temp at 32.4... This is my current system info... So, my question: Is it normal for the cpu to be at 0 ? And while 34c when running hard would tell me my new cooler is working very well, the low temp readings concern me. Any help to the nube would be much appreciated!

Duggie
I am running version 2.4.5110 which I understand is the latest version. I assume the version updates would be cumulative? Do you think I should install the older version? I using Windows 7 Home Prem @ 64bit

I using Windows 7 Home Prem @ 64bit id suggest trying it,some had little success using version 2.4.5110 but honestly you wont know till you try with link updates, newer isnt always better as they address issues some will have and others will not. Duggie
Tried it...made no difference to the CPU temp, but lost ability to set led colour changes based on temp. Hmmm....think I'll stay with the more recent sw. Glitchy stuff, this is. Thanks for the suggestions and help.

JKeifer
With Link software running on my Intel DX79SR motherboard running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, I would get 0 degree Celsius readings on my CPU frequently. The 0 degree reading would also show on Intel's hardware monitoring program, Desktop Utilities. It apparently turned out to be a conflict with how Link accessed the hardware monitoring chip because it stopped reporting 0 degrees after I removed Link. Intel was working on a change to their bios to accommodate Link but I didn't stick around to see if they developed the workaround as I changed MBs and went back to air cooling. Thanks for the info...obviously a sw compatibility issue. I'm quite happy with the performance of this cooler apart from this one "glitch". But I'm curious as to why you chose to go back to air cooling? I switched to the water cooling in order to make the case quieter (although I must admit, when the two fans on the H80i kick up, it ain't that much quieter!) JKeifer
I began to see moisture on my H80i's barbs where the hoses entered the radiator. I "chickened out".
