Dave65
I had an advanced RMA for my h100i, called today to see if it had shipped and found out they didn't have any available..She asked if id like an H110 instead, I wasn't sure but I said sure why not.. Then I realized my Thor II case would have to be modded to accept the h110! Question is, how does the H110 compare to the h100i? Will it work with Corsair Link? And I wonder why they had no h100i's available!
wytnyt
they were out of stock probably because their so much in demand, which is good but not for those that want but cant get one. the h110 has more cooling area and from what ive read actually cools a little better than the h100i the h110 is a different based cooler that doesnt have integrated link but can be controlled using the link commander and cooling node. Thanks for the reply, I called and cancelled the h110, I don't want to go through all t hat trouble to fit it into my case..My h100i works but the pump grinds on cold boot and the led's don't function right..he is expecting more h100i's next week..I can wait:)
wytnyt
as long as your a happy camper ,thats what counts also, its doubtful the cooler will fail even with the noise but if it were to by some chance, the system has built in features that will prevent any over heating problems.i mention this because some seem concerned about this. Yeah, not to worried about the noise, I know corsair will stand behind their products and so far it works great other than the grind at start up and the led's not working as they should!
