Deadalus
Hi all, I'm looking at the RM series of power supplies, because they are optimised for silence, but I don't know which wattage I need. I'm still putting the build together, but here are the rough specs: Intel Core i7 4770K, Haswell, 3.5GHz (I'm going to overclock it) Corsair H100i EVGA GTX 780 SC 1x SSD 1x HDD Blu-ray drive Dedicated sound card Internal wi-fi card I'm very unlikely to go with SLI at any point in the future, so I was wondering whether the RM650 would be enough? Thanks.
peanutz94
Here , you can look up your system on the PSU calculator. It will give you a list of the best choices. http://www.corsair.com/us/learn_n_explore/?psu=yes If your planning on OC'ing and SLI, then go bigger than 650W
Deadalus
Thanks. That PSU calculator seemed to be missing a few newer hardware options, so I used this one instead: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp
