gadgetmadman
I have just purchased an H100i as an upgrade to my current H70 which is causing my system to run very hot reaching 91C at times of heavy video converting despite employing CUDA on my Geforce 680. I have a Corsair 1200 AXUK PSU but I cannot fathom how to connect the pump to the PSU (as the instructions tell me so to do). There seems to be the right cables supplied - two x double fan headers with proprietary connectors for the pump, and a miniUSB to USB header cable but nothing for the other proprietary connection on the pump body. Any enlightenment would be great!
andreaz70
Isnt there a cable with a sata connector coming out of the pump? Splitted into sata and a fan Header connector? Regards, Andreas
gadgetmadman
Not another thing - however the supplied quick start pamphlet only mentions the supplied cables (fan power cable and the Corsair Link USB cable, but I don't want to install until I have the power supply cable also mentioned under "connect Pump to power" where it informs me to "connect pump power header to PSU, and the 3-pin pump RPM wire to any motherboard 3 or 4 pin header"- very glib to be honest - maybe its a mistake in the "Included Hardware" page in the pamphlet! gadgetmadman
Just out of interest where does this SATA cable connect as I have no spare SATA connections with the 13TB and 3 SSDs connected?
andreaz70
Ehrm. Okay. You have some connectors in the pump. 2 For the Y-Splitter Cables (Fans), 1 Mini-USB-Slot for Link2. There is one other, i guess it is for the Link-Module. But beside those connectors there must be a cable coming out of the pump with 3 wires. 2 wires run into an sata connector and one run into such a fan header. It is not stickable, it is hardwired to the inside of the block. Isnt there any?

Latharion
Just out of interest where does this SATA cable connect as I have no spare SATA connections with the 13TB and 3 SSDs connected? You can use a molex to SATA converter cable if one came with one of your drives (or practically anywhere that sells hard drives or other computer equipment). Some converter cables even have two SATA attachments on them, thus making an extra SATA attachment available. There might even be a SATA splitter cable available. Just check around different stores or websites.
