PSU warranty worries

I got the HX850W (80 Silver) the version from 2-3 years ago. Hopefuly there is a Corsair guy around or maybe someone else already has an answer to the same inquiry

 

1. If I remove the sleeves from the cables (24P board, 8P CPU, and 2x 8P PCIEx), will this void the warranty ? I won't be cutting any cables, or anything else, just removing the sleeve.

 

2. If I would redo sleeves by per individual wire (or re-sleeving), will this void the warranty ? No cutting, no re-pinning, just re-sleeving.

 

Having the cables a bit flat (or individual wires) makes it more easier to arrange a clean build. The big bulkyness of a 24P power is just too thick to get around with.

Perfectly fine. As long as you don't cut or modify the wires, you can sleeve them all you want! :) It will not void your warranty.

Perfect ! Definitely not cutting any, i'm suffering from a major case of CBA to even buy new pins and to re-pin after cutting, i dont even feel like resleeving.

 

Simple unsleeving is more than i need, and resleeving is just for some vanity of it (if i do get out of my cba disease).
