Corsair GS700 RMA# 6240903

Recommended Posts

I had my GS700 PSU start making the grinding fan noise that everyone else seemed to have with the 2012 models, I knew the RMA process was going to be a pain and didn't want to risk my PC being without power for the winter so I went out and bought a brand new Corsair TX750.

I set up my RMA for the GS700, but I do not think that under the circumstances, especcially with a widespread problem with the faulty fans in the GS700 that I should be required to cover the shipping costs for this from NY to corsairs headquarters in CA.

Bottom line is I need to attempt to resell this RMA'ed unit to even come close to recouping half of my costs of the new PSU I had to shell out for.

So far I have had little assistance with customer support, and no return phone calls at this time.

Please let me know if there are any other options available to me.

Hi randallhero, there is a couple of options. the first is to log back in to your support ticket and request that they cover shipping charges. There is also the live chat option during normal business hours. But,really your best bet is to just call the toll free number and talk to CS and ask about a pre-paid lable. But generally you would be responsible for the shipping costs to Corsair.

Also if you have a ticket or RMA number please post that here too.

If you ever would happen to do this again, advanced replacements are available when you fill out the RMA form. Corsair could have you a replacement in just a couple of days.
