nottroyaikman
Hey guys, I just bought the new 2100 wireless headset I charged it up, downloaded the drivers from the website and whenever I listened to some music in winamp the audio sounded fine. However, whenever I tried to watch a movie (VLC or Potplayer) or play a game on steam the audio begins to crack and pop terribly. I have tried downloading the realtek HD audio drivers, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the corsair drivers. I am out of ideas, any help is appreciated. motherboard- GA-Z77X-UP5 TH CPU - Intel i5 3570k GPU - GTX 680 Sound card - ALC898

Toasted
Are you using the Dolby features? (Dolby Headphone and Prologic)? Have you tried turning it off? Does it stop the crackling sound?
nottroyaikman
I tried turning it off and back on via the software and it didn't help. I decided to go ahead and send them back and get a replacement pair. Thanks for trying I truly appreciate it!
MagicOnline
Use a black USB2 port instead of the blue USB3 ports, the headset doesn't work correctly on USB3.
