Ramazan
Dear Corsair, I recently bought a corsair vengeance mouse 65 fps. When I use the mouse on any black smooth mousepad. The mouse is unable to move from left to right and vice versa. Up and down seems to work fine. I thought it had to do with the black underground so I tried several undergrounds like my wooden desk and magazines. Then the issue is a lot less present. However it then moves super laggy. I tried this on 2 different computers and both have the same issue. One was on a windows 7 64 bit laptop (clean install). The other one is a Windows 8.1 64 bit Desktop (clean install). I also opened a ticket at support but did not receive any response yet. I am not in any rush or whatsoever, but maybe there is like a quick fix or solution for this matter. I am on the 2.26 firmware version. With kind regards, Ramazan
Toasted
Have you tried adjusting the lift height?
Ramazan
Hi Toasted, Thank you for your reply. I have tried that. And unfortunately it did not make any difference.
Ramazan
I brought the mouse back to the store. It has been almost 3 days now and no response on my question from corsair. Seems that the laser sensor is broken. I asked for a refund. Bought a razer one.
Garrett2112
Same thing here - should have done my homework and read up about all the M65 mice laser failures. Had less than a month and constantly stops working. Thankfully, my Logitech G5 still does all these years after I purchased it. EDIT: nevermind - was OT & apologize for going there. Hopefully can RMA it via telephone - since the customer service website doesn't seem to recognize my account - that I just setup/confirmed & used here.
Toasted
The customer service website is not linked to the forum accounts. You will need to create a new account to use the RMA tool.
