tubelight
So I have a K95, barely 3 months old and it has a problem with the LED under the Insert key. Basically it doesnt turn off. It stays on in all configurations in a duller way. I tried holding the LED control key for 3 seconds and then hitting Insert to try and turn it off, but it only becomes brighter or softer...doesn't turn off. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Toasted
Have you tried reflashing the firmware for the keyboard?
tubelight
Have you tried reflashing the firmware for the keyboard? No I have not done that. Will do it tonight and report back. Also noticed today that the LED's on some other keys are flickering as well. The ERTY, INSERT etc keys have flickering LED's. I've stopped using the lights for now till I can figure out a solution. EDIT - Can you link me to a post explaining how to reflash firmware?

Toasted
Enable reactive typing and see if the L.E.D. turns off. If it still stays lit, request an RMA to replace the keyboard. 2.) How do I enable the “reactive typing” feature? First, press the LED program button 1-2 times until you are in a mode where all keys are unlit. Then hold down the control key and touch the LED program again. To exit reactive typing mode, hold the control key and press the LED program key again. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=118655

The two states where the LED remains off is reactive and when all the lights are off.
