Ton
After I bought my Voyager Air I had a question about it, posted it here and almost immediately got a reply. I was very pleased about that and thought: "Great forum and support !". However, because another question arose meanwhile, I asked about it in the same thread. To my surprise I didn't get an answer. Then I tried to write to Technical Support, had some trouble to do that and asked for help here. 2 Members told me then that I could also post my question here, because I would get a faster answer that way. I repeated my question in that thread and also started a new thread with that question (thinking that would be better because it was a new question). I didn't get a reply yet and to my surprise the new post was apparently removed, because after a few hours it suddenly had disappeared. Maybe I am too impatient and I also realize that forums are community based and dependent on the readiness of their members. But taking all of the above in account, and yet the lack of response, I am beginning to wonder if I have done something wrong here and am ignored because of that. Ton
[quote=wytnyt;682146 btw post your question here please I quote from my other post: " I already asked this in another thread started by me, but maybe it was overlooked because I added this question later and it was not mentioned in the title. So I give it a new try with a new post. I am very pleased with my recently bought Voyager Air (coming from 2 Seagate Wireless Pluses that both gave me enormeous headaches). The VA works perfectly but I have a minor issue. I enabled and entered a password in the Voyager app on my iPhone for the wifi connection. But now, after having switched off the VA and rebooting it, I have to re-enter the password each time I select Voyager Air network under wifi on my iPhone. Somehow it isn't remembered. Is this normal ? Or should it be remembered ? I ask this because with the Seagate I didn't have this issue". And meanwhile I noticed that most of the times I even have to enter the password twice. After entering it the 1st time I get the password prompt again.
peanutz94
Ton, you have asked the same question across 3 threads now. You have to remember this is a support forum which inherently are not all that busy...unless somethings not working right. :) But there is no need to keep starting new threads or posing the same question across multiple threads. They will just get merged anyway or deleted if it was a multiple. You can search the forum for you threads, but I think they are all still here untouched.. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=123545 http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=123505 and this one Chances are the lack of response is because no one that has seen your thread has the answer. If you need immediate help you can call CS on Monday and they will be able to answer you on the spot. Or even the live chat is also an option during normal business hours. I'm not sure why they haven't answered your ticket as of yet. I know they are answered in the order they are received, so it may take a day or so. If it's been longer that that , I hate to keep stressing it, but calling CS would be the fastest way to go or the live chat option on Monday. I'm not trying to sound gruff or anything. Just giving you an explanation of why you haven't received an answer to your question...at least here in the forums. It it hasn't been answered by tomorrow, I can try drawing some attention to it for you though. But , no , you did nothing wrong.
Ton
Peanutz94, thanks for your reply. I apologize for messing things up. Normally I wouldn't have posted my question more than once, but 2 forum members asked me to repeat my question. Btw,last Friday I succeeded in writing Technical Support and just a few minutes ago I already got a reply. Great support !
peanutz94
Ton, no need to apologize, you didn't mess anything up. One of those members was myself. I was just trying to see if your question was something that we could have helped with. It's all good, and I'm glad you got your response!
