Memory for Maximus VI Formula

I'm going to buy the Maximus VI Formula and I want to put some 2400Mhz memory on that board. I've decided to put two Vengeance Pro (2x8GB) memory modules on it and I found these two versions on the corsair website.

the first: http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by-product-family/vengeance-pro-series-memory/vengeance-pro-series-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr3-dram-2400mhz-c10-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a2400c10r.html

the second: http://www.corsair.com/us/memory-by-product-family/vengeance-pro-series-memory/vengeance-pro-series-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr3-dram-2400mhz-c11-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a2400c11r.html

I'm not sure which are the best for the Maximus VI Formula. The second, C11 version, use a lower voltage and I'm not sure if that's good when I overclock the CPU. I going to put a 4770K on the board.

Either kit would be compatible. Voltage doersn't matter. Your CPU is rated for either.

The Cl10 part will be slightly faster than the CL11 part, but nothing you would ever see without running a benchmark.

Just keep in mind that 2400mhz is a HUGE memory overclock. Less than 50% of the 4770ks are going to be able to run these at their rated speed. It will be dependent of your individual CPU's memory controller.

If you plan on overclocking the CPU side as well, then I would suggest going with an 1866 or 2133mhz kit to give your CPU room to breath..

Thx for the reply peanutz.

Just out of curiosity, I found these Dominator Platinum modules 2x8GB (CMD16GX3M2A2133C9) on my suppliers website, but I can't find anything about them on the corsair website. Are these discontinued or just out of stock.
