I want to install the Corsair H110 on ASUS Maximus VI Hero.My questions it's about the backplate. The backplate (specific the right foam http://imagescdn.tweaktown.com/content/5/2/5245_22_corsair_hydro_series_h110_aio_cpu_cooler_review.jpg) it's in contact with the motherboard in the specific part and i dont want to hurt my ASUS Hero VI.

Itll be fine. Personally id take that crap right off that backplate. Soooo hard to get off when I got my extreme z the guy I got it from had an h70 and was so much pressure on the board to rip that tape off and left a nasty residue. Pretty sure only reason its there is to line up the backplate for easy installion. If it wasnt for that it was just be foam not 2 sided tape.

The corsair back-plate is just a terribly designed part. You didn't get the little push screws all the way in. The little screw anchors that go in the back-plate. I had it happen to me but I caught it before I tightened it down. I have and Sabertooth Z87 My back-plate is crooked. It doesn't go on there right. Mine is angled or slanted.
