Sponlapp
Noticed it was released a New Version of the Corsair Vengeance 2000, which I had for a few months, untill the frame nearly broke on boths ears. My question is just a precaution to the durability of the New headset, Corsair Vengeance 2100, if it is more durable, or atleast useable without breaking the ears off. It is without doubt the best headset I've ever had, but the issue With the frame was too big to look past. If anyone have tried it, or knows if it is made With a New material? Thanks! andyvee
they have changed the design , you can see the difference if you compare them side by side , looks like they have made the pivot point longer to try and spread the load , its unknown if the material has changed but does'nt look like it . I will be getting a set once they have updated the drivers for 8.1 , with the other issues Corsair are having lately i'll be ordering from Amazon as returns are quick and easy if do i need to return . Xpl0iter
I can confirm that while the swivel doesn't break any more, the screw holding the plastic that encompases the swivel can go through and crack. It almost lasted me a full year. I intend to use steel wire for wrapping around the part and then ducttaping on top of the wire to keep it held and taking of the pressure on the next one i get. Great headset, just can't keep it self together.
