doestilvoort Posted November 4, 2013 Share Posted November 4, 2013 hey guys, my problem with this headset and its for quit a while now that if i try to select 5.1 surround and click on the power button in the program, it's saying now playing 2.0 instead of 5.1. what is the problem? Toasted Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 Don't worry about the software showing 2.0 Stereo or 7.1 Surround. It's not reliable. To check what kind of playback the headset is set, Right click the speaker icon>Playback Devices>Select the V2000>Configure. If 5.1 Surround is highlighted, the headset is on 5.1. If 5.1 Surround is highlighted, the headset is on 5.1. nvm found it, but what the hell?! if i try 2.0 in the configure thingy and test it my speakers crackle and in 5.1 to crackle but 7.1 not, can i have a older version of v2000?
