PiXi
Hi all, I'm thinking of buying the Voyage Air to expand the capacity on my iPad. I'm wondering if the audio and subtitle options are available when streaming movies from the unit to iPad? I've tried to google this question but weren't able to find the answer. Corsair Employees Corsair Shaman Posted November 4, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 4, 2013 The drive's only streaming the data into the ipad. Whether the audio or the subtitles will be available when played depends on your media player on your ipad.
PiXi
Well.... that's exactly what I don't get. When looking at the screendumps in the iTunes store, it seems as if the Voyager Air App has a built-in media player. Or have I missed something? As I intend to use it on my iPad it will of course be played on the build in media player that comes with iOS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but then it should be able to change soundtrack and/or display subtitles on films etc?

Most media players can only read number of subtitle formats. If you purchase your subtitled media files from iTunes, then yes, the subtitles can be viewed using standard iPad media player. Toasted
It may be best to contact the app developers and see whether it will work or not.
