r3c4ll Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 I have the configuration: ASUS M5A78L-M LX V2 AMD FX 6100 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair (Vengeance) 1600Mhz RAM 2TB Seagate SATA disk But installing Linux (diferent distros) it hangs/freeze on the installation process. You have any idea if could be a memory frecuency problem? Disk configuration ACHI/IDE or CPU configuration? If any hava a working setup, please share the bios options! peanutz94 Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 What are your exact settings for both CPU and memory? Have you tested the modules with memtest yet?(link in the left side bar) I would test each stick individually in the first slot.
