seadog132
Does anyone know the deference in these two Corsair Vengeance 1500 v2? The model numbers are as follows. CA-9011112-WW and CA-9011124-NA. I think the CA-9011112-WW is not a 1500 v2, but just a 1500. And if that is the case what is the deference between the two? ShavedApe
I believe they updated the drivers in the v2 model so you have the same drivers as those in the vengeance 2000. There may be more I just picked up that info from a linus tech tips video a little while ago.
MadnessZ90
I had the Vengeance 1500 (CA-9011112-WW) and now I just got the 1500v2 (CA-9011124-NA/EU). The sound quality changes a lot since they have different frequency response. I won't say that the v2 are better because, for now, I had a better experience with the old 1500s using 1.1 drivers. With the 1500v2 I tested both drivers (1.1 and 2.0.16) but still I can't get good sound settings for this headset... I just hope Corsair will release better drivers... peanutz94
The model numbers are as follows. CA-9011112-WW and CA-9011124-NA. I think the CA-9011112-WW is not a 1500 v2, but just a 1500. And if that is the case what is the deference between the two? CA-9011112-ww would be the V1 however the ww points towards geographical locations. WW stands for World Wide, and the NA in the other part number would stand for North America. But CA-9011124 should be the V2 version in North America. As far as I know the v2 just addressed some of the common complaints with the first version. But comparing them drivers and just about all of the specs are close to the same between the two. I'll see if I can get a better explanation for you.

JasSmith87
Just wanted to add that I am in the same boat as MadnessZ90. There is no way to get good sound settings with the v2 right now. In your shoes I would not buy them and would instead look for the v1's.
MadnessZ90
Just wanted to add that I am in the same boat as MadnessZ90. There is no way to get good sound settings with the v2 right now. In your shoes I would not buy them and would instead look for the v1's. Finally I managed to get a good equalizer setting for the v2 using 1.1 drivers and 5.1 Dolby (the 5.1 on these drivers is the best for sound quality) but, unfortunately, I had to RMA them because I could hear a crackling sound every time there was a bass sound. MadnessZ90
First you need to enable the Dolby Pro Logic, check this guide http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=115356 (go to 2nd post). This is the equalizer setting that I'm using atm http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/3016/gcry.jpg
