Impact9
Not sure what the deal is with these. Audio will play nice and loud sound great and out of the blue turns down to about 50% I check the volume on my PC and turn it to max and can't reach full volume. Checked the manual and really didn't see anything about this. Any suggestions before I send these back to Amazon?
Toasted
By turning down to 50% do you mean the Windows volume level goes to ~50%?
ShavedApe
Your not using windows 8.1 are you? Also you dont happen to have a smart phone plugged in? Windows 8.1 the drivers are broken but that aside when i plugged in my htc one it reduced my sound by 50% but it also did it when it was already plugged in for hours. I had initially no idea what was causing it until as I say I plugged in the phone and it did it.
Toasted
Try this and see if it helps. Right click speaker icon (Notifications tray)>Playback Devices>Communications>select "Do nothing and save.
Impact9
Windows 8.1 didn't have a cell plugged in to my pc. I checked the volume levels and everything was maxed on the player and the headsets yet the audio output was reduced significantly. I didn't know about the driver issue or cell phone. I'll post updates as I am currently testing this issue still. Don't want to wait too long just in case I do need to return them.
