phillychuck
Noticed the fan on my PSU is starting to rattle. It's about a year and half old but I couldn't find the receipt, however there was an $8 dollar rebate on your system that shows the date I filed and received the money, could this be used as a proof of purchase? Do I need to wait for the fan to completely fail and burn out before a warranty can be submitted? I use a Corsair C70 case with bottom filter so the PSU has been kept pretty clean. I was trying to use your ticket system for this inquiry but it was asking me for a part number, when I typed in the model it couldn't find the unit. Thanks

Sorry, No, it can't. Actually Corsair wouldn't have any record of rebates . They are handle by a third party company. Do I need to wait for the fan to completely fail and burn out before a warranty can be submitted? No you don't . Link is on the left. I was trying to use your ticket system for this inquiry but it was asking me for a part number, when I typed in the model it couldn't find the unit. Click on the magnifying glass on the right . It should give you a list of part numbers. If you cant find it just choose one that is close and in your comments be sure to let them know which PSU you have exactly. They can change it internally. phillychuck
No point, I don't have the receipt. Oh well. Guess I'll fix it myself and lick the input capacitor for fun. Thanks.
peanutz94
Sure there is. Go ahead and submit a ticket. I'm sure they will work with you. Just mention this in the comments when you fill out the RMA form.
