dadaas
I have come here trough my domestic forum and they told me if my memory is dead that i have life time warranty and i have read you life time warranty policy so here is my story: But let me first write my ram specifications: This is 2x4gb ram CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B 4096MB 1600MHZ 9-9-9-24 1,5V ver 2,12 This is that blue Corsairs RAM and on front page it says Vengeance. My problem started 1 month ago when i received first BSOD. I have then test for software and drivers and have clean PC from dust and adjust thermal paste on CPU and test normal things that can cause BSOD. But latest test was memtest and memory test all together. First i tested with memtest both of the sticks placed in and i got many errors just from the start. Like 60 000 errors. So i was thinking that it is probably faulty RAM memory. So i tested each stick alone. And one of the sticks is not booting at all. And now i m stable without BSOD for 24h running on 4GB only. I will wait and see if i dont get BSOD in next couple of days, so then my conclusion can be that this RAM is dead? So what should i do then? Can i somehow make it work by testing it with some software or something? And if not, how can i get new RAM? Thanks
peanutz94
Thats pretty easy. One stick is good , one is bad. You'll need to get the kit replaced. Just use the link on the left to request your replacements. Can i somehow make it work by testing it with some software or something? Sorry, no. Once it's dead, it's just dead. Even mouth to mouth wont bring it back!:D::p:
dadaas
Ok but i did some more testing after reading online that Corsair RAM is rarely dieing. So i place "broken" RAM in other slot and boot without problem. And now i m strest testing machine with both RAMS but in different slots. I changed blue slots with white slots. I did memtest and it looks like i get bad ram error on memtest 11. But i m not sure what is the reason for this? My record so far was 2 days without BSOD and then all of the sudden i get BSOD and it keep on getting BSOD until i switch RAM slots or pull one out and then again i m stable for some time (days). How can i really test if RAM is dead. RAM is my first guess for the problem. My second guess is motherboard, but if it would be motherboard i will probably hear soem beeps or wont boot at all or something crazy?

You have done as much testing as possible and there really isn't much else to do except to replace the memory. And no, the MB will not always display error beeps. If you get another kit and it too has BSOD's then you can be sure your problem is somewhere else in your system.
