aryn0001
As per ASUS specifications for MotherBoard ASUS P8H77-V LE LGA 1155 Intel H77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX, the following memory can be used: 4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/2000(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory Dual Channel Memory Architecture. Corsair site specifies memory Vengeance® — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9G) as compatible. I am going to use Intel Core i5-3470 CPU. Can I use this memory in the above motherboard as there seem to be a conflict with ASUS specifications - ASUS allows 1600mHz overclocked memory, whereas Corsair suggests CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9G 'non-overclocked' memory. Yes, you can use that kit. And there is no difference between overclocked memory and non. They are both still a 1600mhz kit. Your CPU has native suport for 1600mhz memory anyway, so it really wouldn't be considered an overclock.
