wilwoods
Where to start. 1) all of a sudden after about 6 months the "head" of the pump unit is no longer white but has gone hot pink 2) I have updated to the latest version of Corsair link but am getting huge software issues. The application will open but will close almost immediately. In task manager it shows as working but the UI has disappeared. 3) I am unable to create new LED bands and it will not show certain CPU information which it did before. 4) I upgraded to the newest version of CorsairLink which is on the site as 2.45 ?? and got the blue screen of death. I un-installed it and found an old version 2.0 something and it was stable but the UI is still intermittent. 5) the firmware upgrade button does not recognize the newest firmware files System. Asus PX79Pro motherboard. 32 GB Corsair ram, eVGA 660 graphics and Windows 7 Pro completely up to date
snfo
So, here are the usual questions. Have you any other monitoring software installed? When you updated to 2.45 have you uninstalled previous version, deleted old profiles and cleaned the registry?
wilwoods
I did an uninstall of all old versions. Asus has its own monitoring software but I have shut those services off It was working fine and then when I updated to the latest version I got the blue screen of death Also I am unable to create LEDs for CPU temp etc as the software doesn't seem to have the function as described in the manual"
wilwoods
Also I just expanded the window so it took the whole screen and when I tried to minimize it to a pane the app disappeared and although it shows as working in task manager it will not appear or restart
wa3pnt
On my Win 8 system, when the application Corsair LINK stops working or responding, and I close the application, I cannot restart the application until I use Task Manager to end the process CorsairLINK Hardware Monitor. Once I end that process, I can restart Corsiar Link, and it will restart the CorsairLINK Hardware Monitor process. RodeoGeorge
