Odaik
Hello, I'm currently building a system around the new Haswell architecture. I understand there are issues with compatibility with certain PSUs, and have looked in the following table to see if mine is one of them: http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/haswell-compatibility-with-corsair-power-supplies/ The issue is, I am using the Corsair HX650, and there seem to be two types. The first "Silver" model is compatible, and the "Legacy Bronze" model seems to still be in the validation process. How can I find out which version of the HX650 I have? Thanks! Administrators Technobeard Posted October 18, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 18, 2013 What's the part number of your PSU? It's on the label.
Odaik
Thanks for your reply. All I see is CMPSU-650HX - is this what you were after?
Administrators Technobeard Posted October 19, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 19, 2013 http://www.corsair.com/professional-series-hx650-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-power-supply.html That's the original Bronze model. It may not work with the low power sleep mode.
Odaik
It says "currently validating" - and it's been that way for a while. Any chance you know when we will find out for sure?
