okitahazuki
Good morning. I've bought a TX850M and it's broken by some reasons,so i send it back to the reseller to change another one.Now the reseller told me i must pay ¥50 more to get the substitute——RM750(i live in China).I'd like to know which substitute will send to me if i send the broken TX850M to you?Thank you! Have a nice day!
peanutz94
You will get another TX850M in return. Corsair can only RMA for the exact same product. Changing models is not a option unless you have had multiple RMA's through Corsair for the same reason. So if your local shop will let you change them for 50$ that may be the best way to go. Thank you for your answer. The local shop told me that TX850M was stop production,so I won't get a new TX850M,they also said that "Corsair will give you an substitute". I had read the warranty information, and I noticed that "If Corsair is unable to replace your obsolete or discontinued product with the same product, Corsair will replace the obsolete or discontinued product, in its sole discretion, with a product having similar function and capacity." So I'd like to know did Corsair still product TX850M?And what means "Changing models is not a option unless you have had multiple RMA's through Corsair for the same reason"? Thanks again~Have a nice day.

As far as I know they have not been discontinued. I know they are still in stock on this site and at many other online vendors as well. Tiger Direct, Amazon, ect, still have them. Corsair keeps extra stock on hand for RMA's so I'm just about 100% sure , at this time, you would get a TX850M in return. In the event they do not have them in stock or they have indeed been discontinued , THEN they would offer you a replacement that comes closest to the TX850M. Moving to the new RM series is likely not an option. But you would need to work that out with CS if they offer you a replacement. Otherwise they will send you the exact same model in return. And what means "Changing models is not a option unless you have had multiple RMA's through Corsair for the same reason"? Exactly that. Corsair will not change models unless you have had more than one PSU RMA'd directly with Corsair. If you return or RMA through your local shop Corsair really has no control over their policy's or actions.
