peanutz94
Actually the latest driver is 2.0.7 and they can be found here http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=116981 Unfortunatly Corsair doesn't really release the changes they have made. Hopefully other users can chime in and give you an idea of whats differnt
m1nus
Well on the left side with the drivers there are a Vengeance Series v2.0.16 unless i'm the only one seeing it.
peanutz94
Yes it does. It looks as if it wasn't updated. There is a sticky at the top of the page with the latest drivers.
Administrators Technobeard Posted October 17, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 17, 2013 peanutz, 2.0.16 is newer (16 > 7). I've already asked for a change log, awaiting a response.
CountreeGamer
There is no difference for me. Still have the same bass issues from before.

As in .7 would have been greater than .1, not that 16 was greater than .7. Sorry guys if i caused any confusion. Thats the third time this week I've been wrong about something. Darn it!!
Toasted
What i've noticed in 2.0.16 is; Equalizer is limited is now +/-12dB User made settings now load correctly on logon. e.g. If Dolby was turned on, it will stay on on reboot not off. Should apply for the equalizer as well.
m1nus
Should we remove the previous drivers first or these can be installed on top?
Toasted
I would uninstall the previous driver and reboot (if required) install the new one.
Sinistercr0c
Anyone having a BSOD with the latest 2.0.16 driver with USBDRV.SYS? I've had to revert to the 2.0.7 driver which is a shame as the latest one fixes the two main problems, i.e volume control is now working correctly, and secondly the headphones state is default 'ON', i.e I don't have to go in on boot up to switch on the headset into 7.1 every time. m1nus
I have no issues so far with the 2.0.16. Although I've tested them only for couple of hours on four or five games.
Saybol
I've noticed that their idea of bass regulation is to practically remove it from the vengeance 1500. 1.1 still sounds the best out of all the different drivers they have released.. what the hell gives Corsair? Update your chipset drivers and see if that helps.

Totally agree with you. I had the Vengeance 1500 and now I just bought the 1500 v2 but still the drivers 1.1 are the best for sound quality...
