DxTrEm3Fx
Hello is the H100i compatible with LGA1150 socket? The website says yes, but the box and documentation doesn't mention the LGA1150 socket.
Administrators Technobeard Posted October 16, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 16, 2013 Yes, 1150 uses the same mounting system as 1155 and 1156.

DxTrEm3Fx
Well i finished installing my H100i on my LGA 1150. I had to go out an buy nylon washers for the back plate. The screw holes stuck out past my motherboard leaving slack in the back plate and studs. Still hitting 200° F when running Prime95 at 4.5GHz. Looks like it's time to delid my cpu. http://dxfxhouse.com/images/HG2/washers1.jpg http://dxfxhouse.com/images/HG2/h100i.jpg
Tokageroh
Mine also runs terrible hot :(. Did those washes make a difference?
DxTrEm3Fx
If I didn't use the washers the back plate will never get tight to my motherboard. Then your water block wont be tight on your CPU either so you have to use it in my situation. I'm not sure what's going on with your rig. I'm running a I-7 4770K and that CPU is known for running hot due to the Intel used crappy TIM instead of soldering the die to the IHS. That's why people are delidding the IHS from the PCB board on their CPU's. Once you delid you can use a better quality TIM. That if you don't mind voiding your warranty on your CPU. DxTrEm3Fx
That's a bummer. I was thinking about a custom loop....There goes another $1000.
