Corsair H100 degraded cooling after ~1 year

Hello, when I built my new system with my H100 cooler it would keep my CPU at 30C but now after about 1 year my average temperature has risen to about 50C. Is there any maintenance I should do or is it maintenance free as stated when I bought it?

nothing is maintenance free,it does need to be maintained, most common faults would be a clogged radiator from dust or having something in the way, also check fan blade dirt and rpm operation.check to insure pump is running ~2200 rpm.you may also reapply your paste as it may have deteriorated ...

has anything been changed such as memory, clock speed ect...

Exactly this.^^^

I find gunk build up on fan blades hurts the airflow more than you would think as well.

If you have pets the time between cleanings may need to be shortened. I have to pull my RADS out about every three months for a good cleaning under warm water.

i still vacuum the majority of it out between disassembles though.

What they mean by maintenance free is that the units don't have to be refilled or bled out. There is no worry of algae in your system, ect. But just like any other cooler be it Air or Water, they still need to be cleaned every now and then

If you going to vacuum it make sure you remove it from the system first, vacuum cleaners can create static and static and pc components are not exactly the best of friends.

You could buy a can of compressed air and you don't really need to dissemble then although it really doesn't hurt to do so. Just remember to use short bursts when you spray it. You can use compressed air on other things like your gpu too.
