sp 120 PWM fans

Yes, the SP 120 PWM fans work with both the H100 and H100i fan controller. The difference being that the H100 uses a set fan speed curve when not using the Corsair Link software to control the fan speed. The low, medium, and high profiles are set RPM based curves. So if you were to pick the low noise edition it would run near full RPM the whole time no matter what profile you had it on. The high performance edition would give you a wider range of RPM on all three profiles as its max speed is closer to the original fans that were shipped with the unit. Where as on the H100i the default profile is a based on PWM % so it will control different RPM fans from stock.

I just bought a H100 and was wondering the same thing. So would it be better to just buy the performance one instead of the quite version of the SP120? If I'm using Corsair Link software will it auto increase my fan speed when cpu is running hot and lower the fan speed when its not?

I purchased 2 SP120 PWM High Performance Edition fans to replace the two noisy/buzzy stock fans that came with my H80i and the new SP120's are also buzzy and noisy! just not as loud. The buzzing noise noticable above 1000rpm :(

EDIT: I should point out that I'm running Firmware version: 1.0.5 and C-LINK version: 2.4.5110
