squidman
Looking for modding solutions here...this bad boy badly needs some casters/wheels. Ideas? And would it maybe need 6? for extra support? Despite the frustrations, it is one damn sexy case (should have been tiny bit bigger for those of us with ax1200/1200i looking to install 2 extra hdd cages!!)... peanutz94
4 would be plenty. You can find casters of all sorts at http://www.grainger.com. Also there are plenty of mod sites that sell them. http://www.frozencpu.com has them as well.
squidman
:D:never thought id hear this from this case... Yeah, but I didn't check before ordering my 2 extra cages that the last one on the bottom is blocked by the PSU...really annoying (and the 5 1/4 mounting bracket can't be removed)...have actually used up all 4 hdd cages somehow and need space for 6 more hdd's....(don't ask...I like collecting hdd's! :D:)...wish they'd tested that before advertising 'fit an extra 2 hdd cages' like we're going to fit a puny 600 watt psu in there....:sigh!: Srry pet peeve and off-topic... squidman
:D:yeah me too,i have near 40 tb in hdd's but i solved my problem by having hot swap bays in all my builds... Solution: mountain mods or diy...unfortunately, former not available here, and massive diy project was not really in the cards. Still, a lousy inch in depth, and the ax1200 and extra hdd cage would have fit.....not quite at 40tb here, but not far off (uhmmm, let's take stock..4x4tb red, 3x3tb wd green, 4xssd, 2x2tb ****gate, 3x2tb green, 2x3tb ****gate etc...2xNAS..)....just sticky taped the ssd's on top of one another in one slot to save space for now. No not a fan of the seagate...randomly going RAW..
