Belial_69699
Okay so I have a Corsair H80 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181016) for my cpu cooler. I was debating whether or not to replace its stock fans with the new white LED fans: http://www.corsair.com/us/cpu-cooling-kits/air-series-led-fans/air-series-af120-led-white-quiet-edition-high-airflow-120mm-fan-twin-pack.html to add a bit more light into my case (Corsair 600T). However I was looking at the fan air flow on the H80 and the air flow on the LED fans and it looks like it wouldn't push as much air as the stock fans would. Anyone mind checking over this to make sure I didn't miss anything? If the LED fans won't push as much as the stock fans then I'll just leave the cooler as is. Just wanted to check with some others to make sure what I am reading is accurate. Thanks!
snfo
Beware that new LED fans are air flow (AF) optimized and not static pressure (SP) optimized. Meaning that AF will push/pull less air than the SP through the radiator at the same rpm
Belial_69699
I think that pretty much sums it up for me. If I replaced the stock fans with the LED fans then my cpu cooler isn't going to perform better at all, it will perform worse. Got it. Thanks!
