H80i LED PROBLEM

Hello Corsair, i have a big problem here and i am getting pretty upset about corsair

 

I live in Brazil, Salvador - Bahia

 

 

About 1,5 years ago i bought h80 in a store and works fine

 

then started the fan problem (WORKS at 100% speed)

 

as i saw in corsair forums, it was a problem.

 

Then , this year, i decided to buy a H80i

 

after 3 month using:

 

disappointment

 

my green led stop running

 

I wonder know where are the corsair quality?

 

So i decided to go to the store that i bought, and they told me they cant refund me

 

what i have to do? RMA my H80i?

 

i don´t have enough money to send my h80i to you (costs about $60, AND YOU DON´T REFUND.. ) and i will have my pc disable because i dont have another cooling to use in my cpu processor ..

what will i have to do????

I think i am going to buy similar products from other companies, because i didn´t got a good quality water cooling product!

That's like saying, "It's unimportant that the navigation system in your Lexus doesn't work. The car still gets you from point A to point B, doesn't it?" My point is that the H80i is a system and all of its component parts should work properly or the customer will be unhappy.

 

I decided to go back to air cooling for software problems related to the H80i system I purchased.

most led issues are a problem within the software and not the cooler

the cooler still performs as the led is just a indication of personal settings.

 

you´re right, but i am not sure about corsair quality!

2 watercoolers, 2 problems..

in my opinion, you have to buy a product and you dont need to have problems...

I bought 2 products

Got 2 problems

 

I am asking to you now, if you were me.... will you buy another corsair product?

 

Poor quality product,

If it´s a software problem, where is the solution?

too many problems here, no one solved, only if you RMA to corsair...

i think will have to spend about $60 to send to Warranty, and the product costs $109.99

In Brazil, these products are much more expensives (about $200,00)

We dont have a good support here.

so corsair could have to sell better products in a better quality

many people here don´t know where to solve their problem

 

Will i have to send my h80i to corsair and lost about 60$ just to get a newer h80i product?

I am pretty scared i will have

and i will have to buy another product, because i dont have another cpu cooling to work on my pc!

I will lose 60$ + 50$ (air cooler) and wait about 1-2 months to get a newer or repaired corsair product!

you can request a advanced rma from corsair and then they send the new cooler to you first so theres no downtime

in all fairness tho,many of your concerns are of no fault of corsairs,that being limited support,higher cooler prices,longer wait times,higher freight

all of these are uncontrollable by corsair considering where you live.

as stated they are working on the software end of this and do have great support so im not sure what more can be expected from them.

i have many of their products and have always been treated very well by them and the same will be given to you.

their closed today but expect a response tomorrow and they will take care of things for you...

I guess you are right, but i got some problems, i hope corsair can solve my problem, maybe it's a bad luck

 

I bought another corsair product because in my opinion and i hope still be the best company, i have other products too... but water cooling is giving me headaches!

Hi

 

I just got a similar problem just out of the blue without updating or touching anything regarding software/firmware. My H80i pump led has just lost the blue led colours totally. I can only change colours when i move the red and green sliders within the Link software, but the blue one doesnt change anything at all.

 

I run the latest Link software and Win 8.0.

 

Is it RMA only or can this be fixed via soft/firmware?
