kosmas0
Hello and sorry if I post this in the wrong section.I just got my HX1050 and it produces three kind of noises at the same time during gaming. The one is fan that is revving up (read that this is normal). Then there is some coil whine but the worst is the third, that sounds like rattling I can say and its very annoying.I tried disabling EIST,C1E,C6/C3 but nothing changed. This is a recording I have done. You can hear the rattling at 00:26 and this is happening many times during a game session, even much louder.Do I have to RMA? Any help appreciated.
peanutz94
Yes, i would have it replaced. However if you just got it, it would be best to return it to your resellers first. If they are unable or unwilling to help, just use the link on the left to request an RMA.

kosmas0
Thanks for the responses peanutz94.Do you know the costs of this process? I read that it requires a credit card.
peanutz94
Basically yes, they will put a hold on your card for the amount of the PSU. Once your old PSU is returned, the hold is removed. Your card is not actually charged unless you fail to return the other in the specified amount of time. Really, it's all a pretty painless process. I have been through it mysel!
