Riftwire
Hey all Iv got an H100i with firmware 1.07 running on it and using the latest Corsair Link RC that is available however I'm having an issue with the LED light on my unit. When I first start up the computer it starts in a blueish color that pulses and when windows loads it does not revert to my saved color choice. When I go into corsair link to adjust the colors I have to raise and lower two of the sliders before the one that controls red begins working again. This is the only way I can get red working. However even if I save that profile shutdown and reboot I'm back to square one. This did not used to happen till I upgraded for PWM fans. Previous behavior as of firmware 1.04 was 5 seconds into boot up it would switch from white to the color I had selected in this case red. Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced! Riftwire
All these LED problems have there been any solutions to any of them other then swapping out coolers? I don't know about other peoples problems but at first glance it would appear that I have a defective LED but its clearly a software thing because playing with the LED color sliders brings back the correct color. Saving the color is a whole other problem though.
pipiolo4ever
I have same problem with temperature option. When I reboot the color keeps fixed. With normal or cycling option works fine. My H100i had preinstalled firmware 1.0.5. I just updated to 1.0.7 with bootloader error at the end. Seem works without problems and Corsair Link inform the correct firmware 1.0.7. I hope next firmware and link software resolve led color problems.
Diechel
Same problems here with H100i, when it boots up the color is a bit purple. When the temperature of the water hits the first setpoint it will change for me

GrahamB
Link release 2.4.5110 has solved my LED profile save problems. It may do the same for you but no guarantees. Go to Corsair Link forum and the download is at the top of the sticky posts. Good Luck

pipiolo4ever
Finally I find the solution. I have installed Version 2.3.4816. This version creates two scheduled tasks. I have edited CorsairLink task and configured 30 seconds delay. It's necessary execute first Hardware Monitor task. Now work fine after reboot. Go to Corsair Link forum and the download is at the top of the sticky posts. Good Luck I'm not sure if the update to this version is related to my "fix" or not. But I ended up giving up on basing my temperatures off my CPU, and resort to the coolant temp instead. Not only are my temp settings now preserved on reboot, but the response of change in temperature and color change is much quicker now, and fluent. Before, it would take up to 3 seconds or so for the LED to change when reading my CPU temp. Now, it is almost instantaneous when reading coolant temp instead. GrahamB
The coolant temp is a better measure of temperature than the average CPU temp, CPU temp can fluctuate quite wildly over a small time frame, the cooling temp is more stable.
