K-70 keeps failing

I had to RMA my first K-70 after three weeks for failing LEDs. The replacement was working fine for the same amount of time and now it is unuseable. I am getting double characters from a lot of different keys and only the 'S' is heavily used when gaming. For the first RMA I had to wait and re-apply after two weeks because Corsair was out of stock. I've been told that Corsair is out of stock again. This time until November? Why is a keyboard that is supposedly a top-notch gaming keyboard always failing? Are these really Cherry keyswitches or a cheap knock-off? I don't see too many failure complaints about the K-70 with 'Cherry Blue' switches. Is there any way I can pay to upgrade? I am using my 4 yr old Dell keyboard to type this because my K-70 is totally unuseable. What can I do to get a working, durable product before November?

I can see the Cherry logo but I don't see Cherry quality. Cherry keyboard switches are manufactured by ZF Electronics GmbH a German company. There was a time when you could always count on getting a quality product from Germany. Time pieces, firearms, automobiles and even Cookoo Clocks. Their knives are among the finest in the world. I used Cherry keyboards decades ago before the PC was even born and they were top notch. I don't know what happened at ZF but I don't like it. I notice they now have manufacturing facilities in Asia. In today's economy I can't say I blame them trying to get lower labor rates but not at the sacrifice of their reputation for delivering a quality product. I am baffled at the poor quality of keyboard I am receiving from Corsair especially after I have recommended the K70 to many others at forums like this one.
