Sharkey1993
Hi all My system specs are as above ive had this system about a year now and ive only just noticed since I had a memory dump error that my system memory is only running at 1333 when ive brought the 1866 pack, using my bios I have used the 1866 pre-set on the memory speeds and now when ever I boot my system just freezes up? I am an IT technician and have never came across this issue before any tips or resoultions to my issue would be greatly appreciated many thanks James
peanutz94
First make sure you have the latest BIOS for your MB, then load set-up defaults, enable the XMP profile , then manually set your DIMM voltage to 1.55-1.6v.That should take care of the system freeze. If by chance it does not please test each module one at a time in the first slot with memtest86+. Let each stick run for about 3 passes or until you get an error. Let us know how you make out.
