amaROenuZ
I've been on the lookout for a decent mechanical keyboard for a while now, and I'm almost settled in on the K70 Cherry MX Blue, but I have a couple questions that have been bugging me before I drop a 120 on it. How does the feedback from it compare to a traditional buckling spring keyboard, like an IBM Model M; is the firmness of the keystrokes good, does the click have the nice springy sound to it? More importantly, how is the durability on it? I have a terrible tendency to literally ruin keys by typing too hard (I've ruined five keyboards in less than four years that way). Zuhl3156
I can't answer for the 'blue' switches but I can't get a keyboard with 'red' switches to last more than a month. They feel real springy and firm but loosen up very quickly. I have a feeling that the blue switches aren't much better. The biggest problem is my keyboard is out of stock until November. It really stinks to pay $129 for a high-quality gaming keyboard only to have it break and not be able to get a replacement.
Kasai
Somewhat silly question, but wouldn't the quality of the switches be more or less the same among the various keyboards that use the cherry switches?
