Taereus
I purchased a K70 in July and one of the LEDs died a few days ago. I have attached photos and my original receipt in the ticket. How long do I have to wait for a prepaid shipping label?
peanutz94
Taereus, I'm sorry , but you would be responsible for the shipping charges to send it to them. Corsair will pay to ship it back. If the keyboard was less than 30 days old or this is a second RMA, they would have provided you with a pre-paid label.
Taereus
This thread says otherwise
peanutz94
You would have to call CS and see if there is anything they can do to help, which is what that user did. Standard RMA policy is that you pay for the shipping costs. I have been here over three years and it hasn't changed any.
Administrators Technobeard Posted October 6, 2013 Administrators Share Posted October 6, 2013 There is no special RMA process for the K70. We do not normally provide pre-paid shipping labels, but there's always exceptions to any rule. Not sure why that other person received one. Taereus
UPS says my keyboard has been successfully delivered to Corsair for RMA. Will the RMA status be updated on my original ticket? Or will I be notified by e-mail when my replacement has been sent?
peanutz94
Will the RMA status be updated on my original ticket? Or will I be notified by e-mail when my replacement has been sent? Both actually. Once your keyboard has been delivered it may take a day or so for it to be processed. Once that's completed and shipping information is generated, your ticket will be updated with the shipping number. You should also get an email with all that same information too. Taereus
Thanks for the reply. Since I am from Canada, will I have to worry about customs charges from UPS when I receive my replacement keyboard?
