Will the RMA status be updated on my original ticket? Or will I be notified by e-mail when my replacement has been sent?

Both actually. Once your keyboard has been delivered it may take a day or so for it to be processed. Once that's completed and shipping information is generated, your ticket will be updated with the shipping number. You should also get an email with all that same information too.
