RiSbO
Hi!! I got a Slider 64gb 3.0 and it has slow speeds I tried on a few PC`s with usb 3 and usb 2 but no luck Are thoes speeds ok?It seams a bit slow for a usb 3.0 flash drive http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3687/10066441646_17c4fe180a_o.png And a question about warranty, on the packing it says 5 years limited warranty but our local distributor from Croatia gives only 3 years on the product declaration.. So who is right? Thanks!! :)
Toasted
Not sure if the speeds are normal as there is no advertised speeds for the drive on the product page. For the warranty, it's five years from Corsair, if you encounter problems with the drive, RMA it via Corsair. Three years from the distributor is probably just their policy. Corsair cannot tell them to change it as they have no control over that.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 4, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 4, 2013 Have you try to do big file transfer using this drive? The benchmark numbers may not be accurate compared to real life applications.
Arnold0
Hi, I have the exact same drive, and the exact same things appens to me : With the USB 3.0 key I got this : http://puu.sh/4TpG4.png Using an hard drive on the same USB 3.0 port gives that : http://puu.sh/4TpTF.png I wonder why the max speed of the key is so slow... My USB 3.0 controler is an Express Card addon but on PC's with native USB 3.0 ports the speed is the same. On windows with copying big files, reading never go better than 40MB/s and it is between 12-15 MB/s for writing speed. Even an old USB 2.0 drive write faster than that. Some advice for getting better speed? Slow formating with windows tools in ntfs changed nothing.
Yellowbeard
Test them with ATTO.

forestrunner40
I just got this drive too and the speeds are terrible. I never get over 20 Mb/sec on writes which i find way to slow. Is there a production problem with this drive?
lone0001
Just got this back from support: Is it CMFSL3-32GB or CMFSL3B-32GB? CMFSL3-32GB has been discontinued because of the availability of the the components. CMFSL3B-32GB is the replacement for it and it is slower then the first gen. Mine is indeed the CMFSL3B-32GB model. That said, I wouldn't consider upto 15MB/s as "USB 3" speeds (nevermind anywhere near the maximum of USB 2, version 1 seems to just hit it or go slightly over) - it's just a flat out lie now the way I see it. I tested USB 2 write speeds and they were about 12MB/s max so I only get a boost of 3MB/s with USB 3. Version 2 of this flash drive having USB 3 is just a pointless feature now to trick people into buying this product. Well at least I know who to avoid next time I *try* to purchase a flash drive with decent write speeds.
