Computer shuts down one hour from turning on - AX850w Gold Series

As the title states, around one hour after turning the computer on, the computer just completely shuts itself off, i then have to wait around twenty minutes before it will come back to life, to then go back to the exact same problem. After it shuts itself off if i remove and re insert the power cable at the back of the computer it sometimes tries to power up but instantly shuts off again, unless i wait around twenty minutes the computer just will not start up again, but always shuts off again after around one hour.

I have recently borrowed a Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 10 (850w) from a friend and it runs perfectly fine without any problems. When my friend wanted his PSU back i then put my AX850 back in. I now have the exactly same problem as before.

We would like an official response to this from a REAL moderator.

peanutz94 if you are an official helper I see nothing except what you have written in your signature to validate this. It would be helpful if there was any kind of proof at all. If you are not please refrain from interfering with posts that are none of your concern.

Thanks Peanut.

I am not Mike but at present his PC seems to be totally unusable so will relay this to him as I dont intend to take my PSU out for him again :). He will probably use his Girlfriends tablet to create an RMA. So much hassle and its less then 3 months old. One last thing we are in the UK and I see many of the posts here are from the States I assume that Corsair has a returns office in the UK, but can you confirm that?

NP, Liqsquid, There are three RMA hubs worldwide. The Netherlands, Taiwan/Hong Kong, and the US. You would most likely be instructed to send your to the Netherlands hub

Since the PC is totally unusable you could even request an advanced replacement. You would only be down a couple of days that way.
