Bad quality Corsair products?

I have a CX750 that failed at all after 3 days !!!!!!!!! only.

Send a ticket to support asistance.

Then, I read the forums and see that is VERY common that any model of PSU fail suddendly (not start, lower energy supply, etc) or make a bad noise. And... even after request a RMA the problem repeats again with new PSU

So, it's notmal for a company to offer this quality of products??!!!!!!!!!

I have to say it!! couse is a lot of money and time that all we use in a PSU ... to later waste more money sending RMA and trying to fix a problem that never had to happen.

yeah, i'm ---> :mad: :mad: and :(:

yes they will robengar, but since your unit is only a few days old it would be best to return it to your resellers first. If they won't help you then use the link on the left to request an RMA.

Also please keep in mind that you are in a support forum. So yes, your going to see alot of issues across all products. It's no different than any other manufacturer

Ok, the resellers won't help. Web polities. But send me a email with an address here in Mexico that maybe is of their hardware supplier and, I suppose, will give me a new one making use of the warranty.

So, I really really hope, that the new one works for years as the first one had to.

Sad to see that I buy a new PSU of a great company (to take care of my PC) and failed after 3 days, and the older and cheaper 400W PSU still works after 3 years, with a daily overcharge that more of 600W!!! (the peaks limit is 700W)

Ok, not too much far.

But I'm trying to change voltages, the 12v is a little high (12.224v) and 5v (at 5.04v).

If that not help will RMA.

Those voltages are perfect. It doesn't matter if they are slightly high. ATX spec is +/- 5% for all of them. so the 12v would be anywhere from 11.4 to 12.6v , and the 5v rail shoiuld be between 4.75 and 5.25v. Your voltages are well within thos limits.

Not to mention they won't RMA a perfectly good PSU just because you think the voltages are off a bit. Your not going to find a PSU that is going to be dead on at 12v and 5v.

In your original post you said it failed. But your voltages are near perfect. What exactly is the problem with this PSU?

Ok, the problem are random shutdowns, and last sunday a general shutdown that later I can not runs the machine (just hard disk and DVD had energy), but I changed to an old 400W PSU and everything worked very well.

Yesterday I reinstalled again the new CX750 and remove a basic fan, not plugged-in it, and system starts ok this time. I let it run just in desktop for hours and no reboot happened. Later I load an internet radio to hear while for hours too and no problem. Will test today with any program that loads GPU for example, photoshop, fly simulation hardware and wait for a possible fail. I prefer to do some test before send it by RMA. If there is no new problem for a time, will wait .. I have a 3 years for warranty :) but, I think that If the PSU gave me problems for the first day (last 26th september) soon it will repeat, probably. What starts bad... finish bad. Is impossible that it fix by itself without reason.

Maybe that was the problem: the fan.

For 4 days I let the system run for hours, and later run some programs for hours too, that requires more energy. At the moment there were no problem, no energy fail, and everything works ok.

But keep testing couse I have to check all possibilities.

Every time I press the start button my heart freezes waiting a new fail, until it starts ok and my blood return to my brain hahaha
