bramdo
Dear all, as a happy Corsairs ssd owner I bought an extra identical ssd (force 3 gt) because I needed the space. The benchmarks (ato etc) results are identical like the ones of storagereview with their raid review of the corsair force 3 gt 240 in raid 0. However, when I install the two ssd's in raid 0 with 64k stripe size and I extract some large rar files it takes ages to complete the task (example, extracting archive of 2 gb takes 20 minutes). When I do the same with the system in ahci it takes seconds. I tried the same with the two other ssd's (corsair force 3 240) and the same situation occurs. Is this possible due to the stripe size (do I have to pick the recommended 16k recommended by intel for ssd's). All intel and other drivers are updated and os is w8 64. Mainboard is asus hero with 16gb ram and 4770. The GT's have the same production date and identitical 5.07 firmware. The Force 3 have the same production date and identicial 5.05 firmware. Thanks Bram Thanks for any advice, Bram

Sure, and I would stick with Intels recommendations(at least for now) to se if you can isolate why this is happening. Since it happens across multiple drives i would have to say maybe something in your RAID drivers, or even possibly the RAID controller on your board. Yellowbeard
For RAID-0 go with 64 or 128 on the stripe size.
