peanutz94
Basically there is no way to tell from just one shut down. Is there anything in your windows event logs? To use the self test feature you have to disconnect ALL cables from the PSU and then try the self test button. What are your voltages reading in your BIOS... 3.3v 5v and 12v lines? peanutz94
Event 41 is a generic error meaning that the system wasn't shut down properly. It doesn't necessarily point towards a bad PSU even though , yes, it could be one on the list of suspects. Failing memory, corrupt drivers, corrupt windows installs, PSU's and many other things can trigger that shut down and error code. Have you made any software changes recently? GPU Drivers? Any hardware changes? You might also try running Furmark and see what it does. Right now your voltages look perfect. You might also try running a program such as HWMonitor from CPUz while you have Furmark running and this way you can watch to see if your voltages are dropping any under load. You can also achieve this playing a game too if you want. Although it won't be as tough as Furmark would be.
Confusedboy
i already check temp everything was normal i just wondering why my computer was shutdown suddenly (no restart just turn off) and when i try to turn on for the first time the self tes LED turn into red , so i unplug the power chord and plug again and it still works fine until now. Oh ya i forget to tell you that iam using UPS APC 650Va, can that be the problem?
