lapino
I just installed a new system with a Corsair Air case and a H100i pump. Everything working fine, but I have two problems : * the h100i seems to emit a very high pitched noise, it is by far the noisiest device in my case. I upgraded to the latest firmware but problem stays * I used two 'quiet' SP120 fans instead of the ones supplied by Corsair. Connected these to the pump as well with the enclosed fan-cable, but it seems I'm unable to control the fan speeds of the SP120 with the CorsairLink software. Any idea how I can do this? Now they always run at full speed (1200rpm).
peanutz94
Are your SP's the 3 pin or 4 pinPWM type and does the pump make that sound with the stock fans?
lapino
3 pin headers, have not (yet) tried with the stock fans. Will do that now...
lapino
Same problem, guess the pump is making more noise than I was expecting. System was a lot quieter with aircooled Scythe :/ But I am able to control the speeds now, seems the SP120's I have are not PWM (only 3 pins). So I can't use these??
