Well took the plunge a bought my self this case , first off in general it"s a good case but has it's flaws

The GPU mounting clearance is ridicules between case and Expansion slots can't fix it myself:wtfman:

Font panel rattles even without any hardware running fixed it:rolleyes:Used window seal tape

SSD's don't fit in HDD cage mountings due to pin being in the way & HDD power connector will not plug into HDD if you mount it in the last HDD slot and I refuse to mount my HDD the wrong way up :rolleyes:punched it out with back end of screwdriver & hammer

@ $ 429.00 AU & the guy who deigned it reckons he's got big hands so it had to be a big enough case to work with WC / AC all the usual add inns :bsflag::hmmm::uzi:

look at it again one arrow points to the thumb screw & the other at the panel that is directly inline with it when you look at it from the side of the case now try & use a screwdriver to loosen or remove the thumb screw no way in hell you can:rolleyes::brick:

There should be a L-shaped philips screwdriver in the accessory pack. If it's not there, you should put in a ticket.

Yeah I sympathize you, seems a bit much to have issues

like these with a $359 Case, certainly not the "quality" of my Silverstone TJ 09, here's my "issues" out if the box:

1. Both side panels do not pop open as advertised when pushing the release mechanism on the back, I have to use a thin blade to "pop" the releases while pushing the release mechanisms, thought it would remedy itself after being used a few times but no dice.

2. Top grill almost possible to get open (no instructions at all with the case....really?!), one of the plastic locking tabs on the top grill broke off, cheap friggin plastic, fixed it with crazy glue.

3. Absolute cheap flimsy HDD Racks.

4. Hreat design Corsair on the GPU installation, installing 3 GTX 680's Classys is the most frustrating part of my build....only 1 set screw installed, no way I could reach in there, had to use a stubby Phillips. Damn, for a Case the big they left us this frustrating challenge. They could have pre-drilled holes in the case that you could fit a

screwdriver thru, this is undeniably my biggest beef!!

I replaced my TJ09 as I needed the space, no regrets even with the issues above, just a little disappointed, going to drill my own GPU access holes in the case ( in line with the GPU securing bracket screws).....unless someone at Corsair can let me know if there is an easy way to remove the back part if the case with all components installed except GPU's????

There is a release latch in the roof of the case:

But open a ticket with Corsair, I'm sure they'll replace your grill.

Your front grill sure looks strange! Sympathize, lived in oz for 12+ years, sad to see aussies still getting shafted! (pricewise or otherwise!) However, with the ssd's I don't quite follow..I didn't even try to mount them with the pins on the hot-swap inserts, I used the screw holes and did it that way...don't even see how you could mount with the normal hdd rubber grommet/pin arrangement there.

GPU mounting is a pain, but again, you need the bent screwdriver/attachment. MY biggest prob with the case (as opposed to other Corsair products, don't get me started there!) is fitting in a 5th hdd cage...and total lack of product support/documentation/etc. It's taken me a month to get this beast in working order, and a lot of frustration! And a lot of ragging on Corsair peps! But I still do really love this bad boy!

Oh yeah the top grill does pop off pretty easily, but you have to get used to finding the exact spot to push (just one in the middle)...took me 3 days to figure that one out! No thanks to Corsair documentation and support...(what? it exists? hahhahahahahah)...no of course I found the solution googling....

Good luck!
