Vaselkov
I used XMP profile and after testing both sticks, one always fails to complete without errors. Other passes all the time. I tried different speeds (1333, 1600), timings (10-10-10-27, 11-11-11-27), voltages (1.35v, 1.4v, 1.55v), but no luck - still getting errors with that one stick.Memtest86, Memtest86+ 5.00RC1 don't find any errors after few passes on that ram stick. I rarely get hard locks with both sticks placed. So can I trust HCI memtest? Is this some compability issue or just bad ram? My other system parts - 3570k, Asus P8Z77-V LX. Please retest the modules using memtest86+ (link on the left sidebar) and see if you get the same results. I know Corsair doesn't trust NCI and only officially recommends memtest to test their modules. Honestly i think you'll get the same results, and if you do it's pretty cut and dry them ...RMA the set. I've seen HCI report false errors before. But seeing as this is just one stick i have a feeling it will fail memtest as well though.
