SP2500 goes dead after few minutes

The speakers goes dead after 3-5 minutes usage since last one month (after 1 year use). There is no power all together and no display in the remote too. It doesn't start immidiately after that even if you attempt to power on. It takes another 3-5 minutes before it can be restarted. I changed cables, power source without any success.

If above issue is experienced by any other user? I saw one of the users reporting similar behavious through amazon? Cal anyone pls confirm teh issue?

It looks like , the system looses power after heating up or something of that kind, then it takes few minutes more to cool down before it can be started. I purchased the product in Mumbai , India. The set has been sent for replacement since a week and I get to hear that the product is not in stock currently. Thus, waiting....painful.

neel bapi: I am having a similar problem. After about a year My SP2500 lost all power. I replaced the fuse in the plug and they worked again (although the fuse was not blown) after a little while the power went off again. I put the original fuse back in and they worked again. This happened quite often. Sometimes they would be OK for weeks and then I would lose all power again. After changing the fuse the power would return.

I do not think my issue with the SP2500 is over heating as sometimes they will not work for hours unless I change the fuse in the plug (which is not blown).

Now they only work for a few minutes before the all power goes off and changing the fuse makes no difference, the power only returns for a few minutes.

I live and bought mine in England so I don't know if changing the fuse will help you.

Although if anyone has any ideas as to what is creating this problem I would be very grateful for their input

Not sure of the issue, the system came back from the service centre. Even before I cld check for the actual issue, I heard a constant hissing sound (quite audible) as we switched on the system. Had to sent it back again. This speaker now sucks....I have lost all the confidence in Corsair now.

Hello neel_bapi,

Have you already submitted a RMA for this unit? We will be more than happy to replace this unit if it's still under warranty.

I have the second RMA number MCR-IW-CEM535089C and my set is yet to arrive. Following up everyday with Kaizen guys in Bangalore and it looks like their stock is never available. Last week they promised that the new set wld be here at 2-3 day sand today I get to hear that , it's yet to be dispatched. I have lost all confidence in the brand and it's service quality ...I am suffering since last 1.5 months without the set. At this price I cld have had much better speakers , at least with peace of mind.

The painful state still continues(almost 2 months now) after I got a almost dead uinit as a replacement. I have no words for it rather than asking for a complete refund or going to court if they are not interested for a refund. Such a pathetic state of Corsair in India.
