ZukeZuke
After a bunch of research, I finally decided that the Vengeance 2000's were the headset I wanted to get. I'm shocked to read all the dozens of posts here about cracked V2000 headsets! Now I'm rethinking that I might get some Logitechs or Razers instead. I see they now have a V2100 headset available. Even though they say, "The Vengeance 2100 has been designed from the ground up for maximum comfort and durability", I can't see any differences other than the color? Does anyone have any experience with the new V2100 version and their build sturdiness? I'm not really interested in the Corsairs anymore unless they've tried to solve the cracked earpiece mount problem. Thanks for any insights! Toasted
The V2100 headset has not been released yet. You can have a look at this press release as it may help http://www.corsair.com/us/pressrelease/corsair-powers-up-gaming-headsets-at-pax-prime-2013 Some of the features listed are also on the V2000 as well. andyvee
If you compare them you can see they have made the pivot points longer and hopefully now unlikely to crack on the inside plasic by the screws .

ZukeZuke
When are the 2100's going to be released? I thought they were out now, but nobody (Amazon, Corsair's own site) seems to actually have them in stock for the past several weeks, making me think they're not really out in the wild yet. Impact9
Amazon had them on there the other day. Course this was the day after I ordered the 2000 model.
Corsair Employees jonnyguru Posted January 28, 2014 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 28, 2014 I don't get it... I had the 2000's for over a year and never had a problem. Well... the micro-USB connector on the charging cable broke, but that's no big deal. But now I have the 2100 and gave the 2000's to my brother in law. I hope they hold up for him! :D
