CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.exe v2.3.4816.18345 writing files to incorrect location

Hey, whilst investigating what was writing files to a new SSD in a weird manner I noticed with Process Monitor that CorsairLINK_HardwareMonitor.exe is not only writing files to \users\(user)\appdata\roaming\corsair\ (files such as tempmap.dat) but it is also writing a file to the generic folder of \user\(user)\appdata\roaming with the file config_data.dat

 

Can we get Corsair to at least write files to their own folders instead of the base appdata/roaming folder please? this needs to be tidied up :)

Please try the steps to remove any saved profiles and then uninstall the version you have installed and then reboot and install version 2.4.4948 in admin mode
