Vitamin
Windows 8. All drivers installed, .NET installed, all updates applied and have tried multiple headers on my motherboard. Should I just return the product and call it a day? I've read a bunch of threads here on the same issue, and haven't found a solution yet. Somewhat absurd that we're expected to buy an additional USB mini cable to rout outside of our case with absolutely no warning in the product's description that it isn't compatible with a wide range of current boards. Any ideas? EDIT: Motherboard is an ASRock Z87 Extreme3.
wytnyt
the cable is simply a way to help diagnose user usb issues and if the user was able to diagnose issues with their unique build, then the cable wouldnt be required explain how things are hooked up,a screenshot of devices in link ,usb devices thats installed, ect and we can give ides on what to check. Vitamin
Turns out I have either a bad USB header cable included with my cooler, or a bad connector on the pump. I tried EVERYTHING, and just decided to wiggle the cable around where it connects to the pump. Sure enough, Windows beeped and recognized it a second afterwards. Now if I even move my case it will sometimes disconnect and I'll have to open it up all over again. Does Corsair do advance RMAs if you give them a credit card number? I really can't wait 2 weeks without my system.
wa3pnt
I know that you've already checked this, but the mini USB plug that goes into the Pump Head goes quite a ways in. The first time I connected mine, I thought I had fully seated the plug, but found that it would go another 1/8" further into the Pump Head. Just a thought. This whole time I thought it was in all the way, because it does hold it in there a good bit part way. Sometimes the most annoying problems are solved in the simplest manner. Thank you! :)

This is also good information for my 1500 headset, thank you! I've had the left earcup rattle since I got it, but never felt like going out to buy another headset while I waited.
