bonalba
Does the 550D have ' a chasis mounted warning speaker ' built in to the front panel? I have connected all supplied cables to the Q connector on my asus Z87 board, but can not find a cable in the harness marked 'speaker' . Do I assume that I need to buy a speaker and attach it directly to the m/board? Thanks.
Administrators Technobeard Posted September 13, 2013 Administrators Share Posted September 13, 2013 None of our cases have the mini speaker.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted September 13, 2013 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 13, 2013 You don't need to buy this little speaker. Most motherboards have this function build in into their on board sound card. You just need to plug in your computer speaker system to the on board audio output socket. You can hear all the motherboard's error, warning, indicator sound through the speaker system.
bonalba
Many thanks for your concise and useful answers. I wonder why Asus and intel don't state such info in their Z87 manuals. Once again Thanks.
